My Story

As someone who sees patterns and beauty in numbers, I was drawn very quickly to data research when I began to explore how to evidence my experience of having a single Black lecturer at university and how despite being in higher education for decades, I knew of very few Black professors.
I learned that there are currently public records in the UK that show the numbers of Black and other marginalised researchers but they are presented (or hidden) as massive data sheets which therefore remain the preserve of specialists.
And so this space was born, I now actively use that data and re-digest it so that I can pinpoint and map precise data on Black and other marginalised researchers.
I hope you stay, explore and learn with me! If you want to contact me, just go to the home page and drop me an email!
